NAConversations
This is some text inside of a div block.

Native Arts Collective presents our first NAConversation, a series of discussions highlighting Native contemporary artists.

Our first speaker event is a filmed discussion amongst two of the most influential Native Contemporary Art pioneers – Edgar Heap of Birds and Peter Jemison, moderated by Dave Kimelberg.

The discussion involves the artists’ early years working together and creating new spaces and interest in contemporary art in New York City and how each returned to their communities to develop their art practices.

Our Mission

Sharing
Their
Stories

Native Arts Collective Inc. (NACo) supports the awareness, understanding and advocacy of contemporary Native communities through the development and promotion of Native contemporary artists and their work. We strive to bridge the gap between general society and contemporary Native nations and indigenous communities by championing their stories, expressed through art.

Our vision is to provide Native and indigenous contemporary artists the resources and support they need to thrive and cultivate breakthroughs in mainstream art.
